Elite Performance Academy: U14 to U17

$187.00

Xtra Time Elite Performance Academy is an intensive 6-week training program for ambitious U14 to U17 players looking for additional training beyond their team/club environment.

Players will be challenged through individual, unit and small-sided game situations designed to improve performance in and out of possession.

Sessions emphasize technical quality, decision-making, 1v1 dominance, attacking creativity, defensive competitiveness, transitions and game understanding.

The environment is intentionally competitive. Players will be challenged to create, defend, react and compete under pressure. The program is created for more elite and experienced players who are within the competitive or high performance pathways with experience playing the game.

Xtra Time Four Pillars: Everything we deliver falls under one of those four pillars.

CREATE
Receiving, dribbling, passing, combination play, finishing and creating advantages.

DEFEND
1v1 defending, pressing, delaying, intercepting, protecting space and winning possession.

TRANSITION
Immediate reactions to winning and losing the ball.

COMPETE
Duels, decision-making, physical intensity, resilience and performing under pressure.

U14–U15 | Elite Performance – Next Gen
More emphasis on individual technique, 1v1 ability, confidence, scanning, decision-making and understanding basic attacking/defending principles.

U16–U17 | Elite Performance – Advanced
Higher tactical complexity, faster decision-making, positional problems, transitions, unit relationships and greater physical/competitive demands.

Both boys and girls train within the academy. Players can then be grouped by age, ability and physical/technical needs within exercises.
